Baby Cakes® is a new, dwarf thornless blackberry that is perfect for patio pots, and small gardens. A deciduous upright shrub with oval, compound leaves. Baby Cakes® features dainty white flowers with chartreuse eyes along the branches in late spring. A hardy, heavy producer on second year rods, it is self-pollinating. It bears an abundance of magnificent berries in mid-summer, and in many regions will produce twice in one season. Fruits are used for cooking, baking, preserves, canning, and freezing. Attracts birds.
