Mini Pink Delphinium (Delphinium ‘Mini Pinks’) is prized for its vivid pink blooms accented by a bright white centre. Part of the popular Mini Star series from New Zealand Delphiniums™, this variety was selected for its shorter stature and thick, sturdy stems. Reaching a compact height of up to 90 cm (3 ft), it remains upright longer without the need for staking. The densely packed flower spikes are also ideal for fresh and dried cut flowers, making this a favourite for both gardens and bouquets.

Also known as Larkspur, delphiniums are classic garden perennials and an excellent choice for adding vertical interest to smaller spaces. Mini Pinks Larkspur blooms generously from June through September, providing long-lasting colour throughout the growing season. Often referred to as a “Bee Delphinium” due to its contrasting white “bee” at the centre of each flower, it is highly attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. The deeply lobed, fern-like green foliage of this pink Delphinium stays lush throughout the season, dies back in winter, and regrows vigorously in spring.

With its upright, clumping habit, Mini Pinks Delphinium is well suited to garden beds, perennial borders, and especially striking when planted in mass. Exceptionally cold hardy to Zone 3a (-40 °C), this pink Larkspur performs best in moist, well-drained soil with partial to full sun. Deer and rabbit resistant, this low maintenance variety is an excellent choice for both beginner gardeners and seasoned professionals alike.
