The Hart’s Tongue Fern is a low maintenance addition to your part shade, or shade garden. Producing an erect-arching clump of tongue-shaped, leather green fronds this is an unusual fern. The fronds are undivided giving the plant a unique appearance. On the leaf’s underside spores darken with age and reveal a herring-bone format. Growing upright this fern is great as a ‘thriller’ in the ‘spiller-thriller-filler’ container combination. Enjoy this bright green fern all year round, including the winter.
