They are rich in vitamin B and vitamin E as well as in microelements: zinc, iron, copper, calcium, germane, selenium and phosphorus.

Lycium barbarum 'New Big' will begin to produce fruit 2 to 3 years after planting. Berries ripen form August to October. Hardy, low maintenance and tolerant of most conditions, although it does prefer a sunny location.
