Native to Korea, Fragrant Abelia (Abelia mosanensis) has proven to be the hardy in northern latitudes. Clusters of pink buds open to extremely fragrant, pinkish-white flowers. After blooming, Also called Korean Abelia or Hardy Abelia, it is not particularly showy until autumn, when its foliage turns attractive shades of deep purple & orange, not found in other shrubs.
