Prunus persica 'Chinese peach' is an hardy zone 5a cultivar of peach tree that can grows up to 25 feet. It produces soft pink blossoms in early spring that is followed by medium to large peaches with bright yellow flesh and orange skin blushed with red. Fruit ripens in early to mid August. This variety is self-pollinating, but planting two or more plants together generally result in a much better fruit yield.
