Astilbe chinensis 'Milk and Honey' (Milk and Honey Astilbe) has airy, creamy-white spikes of flowers (which turn light pink with age) on sturdy stems. This light pink Astilbe has beautiful lightly marbled green foliage when young, maturing to a solid green with age.

Growing to a height of 70 cm (2.5 feet), the clumping habit of this pale pink Astilbe makes an it an excellent foundation plant. It is very attractive in mass plantings, or amongst other shade loving varieties, such as hostas. The flowers of this perennial false spirea will attract pollinators to your garden. They make great fresh cut flowers, as well as lovely additions to dried floral arrangements.
