Queen of Hearts Oakleaf Hydrangea is a cross between 'Snow Queen' and 'Pee Wee'. It produces massive, upright, conical flowers that don't droop, and measure up to 9" (23cm) long. The blooms are initially bright white, then change to rose pink as they mature. Blooms appear later in the season than other Pink Oakleaf Hydrangea cultivars.

This deciduous shrub matures in a rounded form to 6' (1.8m) tall spreading to 9' (2.7m) wide. The attractive, dark green, oak like foliage turns to a burgundy colour in the fall. Exfoliating rich brown bark is visible throughout the winter, making Hydrangea quercifolia 'Queen of Hearts' a year-round beauty.
