A deciduous shrub, Berberis thunbergii is commonly known as Golden dwarf Japanese barberry. Its stunning bright yellow foliage, which appears in May to June is most noteworthy. Grows to 3 Ft tall. Used to wonderful affect in a border or hedge because of its size, leaf colour and shape. Native to Europe and Asia.
