The showy, double blooms rise above bushy mounds of thick, deep green evergreen leaves in early spring, providing nectar to early pollinators. Rose Quartz Hellebore is very pretty in rock and alpine gardens, and massed in woodland gardens, or as a ground cover. Its penchant for partial to full shade makes it a versatile plant in the garden.
Hardy to USDA Zone 5, Rose Quartz Hellebore is easy to grow; and resistant to booth rabbits and deer. Prefers a spot sheltered from the wind. Has low water needs. This double pink and white Hellebore is toxic to mammals.
