Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola' (Golden Variegated Hakone Grass) is simply one of the most attractive ornamental grasses. It has layered weeping foliage reminiscent of bamboo. It's clumping nature, soft-edge and shade tolerance, make it a perfect shrub border. Golden Variegated Japanese Forest Grass is perfect for the formal Japanese garden. Plant with Japanese Blood Grass for excellent contrast and impact.
