Geranium himalayense 'Birch's Double', commonly known as Birch's Double Cransebill is a small hardy perennial (reaching 10 inches tall and spreading to 12 inches). Its deeply cut lobed palmate leaves are green in colour, and turn crimson in fall.

Blooms June to August, Birch's Double Lilac Cranesbill prefers woodland light conditions. Cut back spent flowers to encourage second flushes. Plant as a ground cover, in pots, planters and baskets, and en masse in borders. Himalayan Crane's-bill attracts butterflies. Resists deer and rabbits.
