Bergenia 'Pink Dragonfly' is a spring charmer, and rebloomer. Its panicles of bright pink flowers with dark pink throats are an impressive array on red stems, over its distinctive, glossy, everchanging foliage. The evergreen foliage changes from green, to maroon to purple as the temperature cools, providing fall interest (and winter interest in warmer areas, where it makes a wonderful ground cover). Pink Dragonfly Bergenia will thrive in full sun to part shade, although more shade will help to keep the colour of the leaves more intense.
Use Pink Dragonfly Heartleaf Bergenia at borders edge, in rock gardens, containers, mass plantings, as ground cover, and in shady woodland gardens. Attracts bees and butterflies. Low maintenance and drought tolerant once established. Pink Dragonfly Pigsqueak is rarely damaged by deer and rabbits.
