Wisteria floribunda 'Longissima Alba', also known as White Japanese Wisteria, and Shiro-noda Wisteria is an elegant, twining climber with extravagant, drooping clusters of fragrant, lilac-tinged white flowers. The racemes of pea-like flowers can easily reach 24 inches in length; and appear in spring when the foliage unfurls.

Shiro-noda Wisteria is an award-winning variety that has many uses in the garden. The vine reaches 30 feet (9 m) in length and 20 feet (6 m) in width; and is of wonderful ornamental use over arbours, on trellises and pergolas, and against walls. Site this white japanese Wisteria in slightly protected areas; and given its size, against / over substantial structures that can hold its weight at maturity. Hardy to -29 °C and deer resistant.
