Spigelia marilandica 'Little Redhead' is grown for its colourful, yellow-throated, tubular, dark red blooms. They are wildly attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. The plant grows to 2.25 feet tall in a tidy, upright clump, with sturdy stems. A native wildflower of the United States, Little Redhead Indian Pink grows naturally in either sun or shade. It is very adaptable to different soil types; and easy to grow.

Little Redhead Spigelia Blooms early summer, with sporadic re-blooming in fall. A wonderful cut flower for bouquets. A very showy perennial, use it as a focal point, in borders and containers, and cut flower gardens.
