Rosa the Fairy, a creeping rose, features small shell pink double blooms (1” across) in clusters at the end of stems, from May to late summer. A profuse bloomer, it has been popular since it was introduced in 1932. Flowers are lightly scented and multi-toned, and are exce llent for cutting. ‘
The Fairy’ is a compact, graceful, spreading shrub rose that typically grows to 3’ tall, and as wide. Small, glossy dark green leaves turn yellow in fall, and have good resistance to fungal diseases. Makes a wonderful low hedge. Equally lovely in containers and in mass plantings. Requires little pruning. Tolerant of air pollution. Attracts butterflies.
