It produces an abundance of 5 inch, vibrant cherry red, ruffled blossoms. Flowers have a brightly contrasting yellow halo and an apple green throat. This Red Daylily begins blooming in early midseason (early July), and is in continuous bloom into the fall (late September). Each flower remains open for at least 16 hours. Deadhead for best performance.
Daylilies are very easy to grow with average to low water needs; and can survive the worst of environments. They are rabbit resistant; and salt tolerant. Attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Plant this red reblooming daylily in a swath for a really beautiful mass of flowers.
