Hemerocallis 'Double Pardon Me', commonly known as Double Pardon Me Daylily grows to 18 inches tall. It has 3 inch, fragrant flowers in shades of red, on long stems. The flowers have twice as many tepals as most Daylilies – making them unbelievably full, and showy. A heavy and midseason bloomer, this double red daylily's flowers emerge first in July, then rebloom. Deadhead for best performance. As a nocturnal daylily, flower buds open late afternoon and remain open through all or part of the next day.
Daylilies are very easy to grow with average to low water needs; and can survive the worst of environments. They are rabbit resistant; and salt and Juglone tolerant. This red reblooming daylily attracts butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Plant in a swath for a really beautiful mass of flowers.
