Giant Fleece Flower (Persicaria polymorpha) is an elegant, large perennial that grows 5 to 7 feet tall, in an arching vase shape. It is topped with masses of large, beard-like white flowers on every stem. Long blooming, the Great White Fleece Flower blooms June to September. Flowers are followed by pinkish seed heads. An award-winning perennial, it has been honoured with an Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society.

A clumping, non-invasive plant, Persicaria polymorpha looks great at the back of the border with other tall plants, and is a wonderful specimen plant. Cut for fresh bouquets. Easy to grow and low maintenance (simply cut it back after flowering).
