Dwarf Ninebark is a dwarf, spreading, dense, deciduous shrub which typically grows 2 feet tall. Reddish bark adds interest in winter months, but is covered by green foliage during the growing season, which turns to yellow int he fall. Small 5-petalled pink or white flowers appear in clusters in late spring. These are followed by red clusters of fruit.
