Caryopteris 'Dark Knight' has fragrant mists of deep bluish-purple flowers. Intolerant of wet, poorly-drained soils. Roots are hardy to zone 5, but top growth is only reliably winter hardy to zone 7. Blue spirea attracts bee, butterflies and beneficial insects to your garden. Wonderful shrub to grow!
