Tiny Monster Bloody Cranesbill (Geranium 'Tiny Monster') is a compact cranesbill selection and a fantastic, vigorous ground cover. This Pink Hardy Geranium displays beautiful, purplish-pink, saucer-shaped flowers with distinctive dark purple veins on the petals. This is one of the longest-flowering dwarf geranium cultivars to date. Deadheading of spent flowers encourages further blooming.
It develops deeply-lobed green leaves that turn scarlet red in the fall. Pink Cranesbill can be easily grown in well-drained soils with average moisture. Established plants can tolerate slight drought. Tiny Monster Bloody Cranesbill is a sterile hybrid from Germany, developed through interspecific hybridization between Geranium sanguineum and Geranium psilostemon.
Growing in full sun enhances the flower production and helps maintain a tighter plant growth habit. Tiny Monster Hardy Geranium is perfect for smaller gardens, outdoor pots, and containers and can be used as an excellent filler plant. In planting en masse, approximately 18 inches of spacing is recommended.
