Black Fountain Grass, or Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Moudry' is a fine textured grass with upright, arching foliage. Bluish green in colour this foliage turns to yellow in the fall. Dark purple, nearly black, plumes rise above the foliage from mid to late summer and persist until winter. A beautiful landscape accent.
