Anna Nagoonberry spreads slowly through rhizomes and forms a dense carpet of attractive foliage with pink flowers in the spring, and red berries in the summer. The foliage changes into radiant burgundy and crimson colours in the fall.

This groundcover requires another variety of Arctic Raspberry, like Valentina, to produce fruit. The flowers and fruits are beneficial to pollinator species like bees and butterflies as well as wildlife species, like birds. As the name suggests, Arctic Raspberry is very cold hardy, and will die back to the ground over the winter then re-emerge in the spring. Anna is a slightly taller variety of Arctic Raspberry growing to a max height of 8-12 in.
