American Cranberrybush is a hardy deciduous shrub with a dense, spreading growing habit, capable of growing up to 12 feet tall and wide at maturity. White lacecap flowers bloom in spring followed by drooping clusters of edible cranberry-like berries and purplish-red foliage in the fall. This variety of berry is a beutiful addition to landscapes, attracts birds and is great for jams or jellies.
