Another shockingly beautiful Daylily, Hemerocallis 'Red Sakura', commonly known as Red Sakura Daylily has large, strawberry red, single blooms with fancifully ruffled white edges, and a lemon-yellow eye. The bold, open faced flowers are large at up to 7 inches! Begins to bloom in July, and reblooms into late summer/early fall. This red and white daylily grows just over 2.5 feet tall with a spread of 2 ft.
Daylilies are very easy to grow with average to low water needs; and can survive the worst of environments. They are rabbit resistant; and salt and tolerant. Attract butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Plant in a swath for a really beautiful mass of flowers.
