Red Japanese Maple is a small, deciduous, ornamental tree. It is a stand out in any garden. The showy leaves change from a bright red in the spring, become a dark burgundy/maroon color over the summer, then change back to a bright scarlet red in the fall. This slow growing tree has a busy shape, and dense growth, which emphasize its spectacular leaves. Acer palmatum 'Atropurpureum' is a perfect choice for a specimen in any urban, or Japanese garden.
