Leverkusen Rose (Rosa 'Leverkusen') was first introduced in 1954. It is a strong, bushy, repeat blooming, yellow hardy climbing rose. It has deep glossy green foliage; and clusters of large, double, light lemon yellow blooms, with a light fruity fragrance. As the petals age, their borders turn creamy-white. Blooms from summer to autumn, and grows to 10 feet high, and 8 wide. A sun lover, Leverkusen Hardy Climbing Rose prefers east, west or south facing, sheltered exposures.
A very versatile rose in the garden, it is wonderful on pergolas, trellises, walls, fences and archways. Leverkusen yellow white rose is best used in urban gardens and courtyards, cottage, and formal gardens.
