Award winning, Francee Hosta is one of the best white-margined hostas. Growing to 14 inches tall and 36 inches wide, the dark green, slightly glossy, heart-shaped leaves have very clean, narrow white margins. The lavender flowers appear on tall 30 inch scapes in late summer, and attract hummingbirds.

Hosta 'Francee' brings wonderful texture and contrast to woodland settings, mass and foundation plantings. Makes a good overplanting for early spring bulbs. A low maintenance, easy to grow plant, this variegated Hosta prefers average to moist conditions. Hardy to -40 °C. While still a shade plant, Francee Plantain Lily has greater sun tolerance than most Hostas.
