Bergenia 'Fairytale Romance' comes up with the other beloved spring charmers; such as, Hellebores, Daffodils, Primroses and Tulips. Its large panicles (6 inches) of 1 inch apple blossom pink flowers are an impressive array over its distinctive, glossy, wide foliage. Fairytale Romance Heartleaf Bergenia leaves are evergreen in warmer zones (USDA 6 and above, or sheltered microclimates), where it makes a wonderful perennial ground cover.

Use at borders edge, in rock gardens, containers, and shady woodland gardens. Fairytale Romance Pigsqueak attracts bees and butterflies. Bergenia are rarely damaged by deer and rabbits.
