Sedums are known for adding a spark of colour and texture to the garden, and Double Martini Sedum (Sedum 'Double Martini' ) epitomizes these characteristics. Growing to 18” tall with a wonderful rounded mounding habit, Double Martini Stonecrop has straight dark red stems, and olive green leaves with serrated edges. The leaves are "meaty", as this upright sedum is a succulent. Clusters of beautiful star-shaped pink flowers bloom in late summer and early fall. Flowers attract pollinators, bees and birds.
Plant en masse, in containers and planters, and cut foliage and flower stems for bouquets. Leave flowers on in the fall for birds, and cut back in the spring as new growth will come from the ground. This upright stonecrop is drought tolerant, very hardy, and sun loving.
