Ultraviolet Purple Phlox is a striking, magenta-flowered tall garden phlox. Phlox paniculata 'Ultraviolet' reaches 36 inches tall and spreads to 32 inches wide. Wildly floriferous, the fragrant flowers bloom all summer long into fall. Ultraviolet Phlox has very pretty dark stems and buds, and bronzed green leaves.

Plant in full sun to partial shade. This purple garden Phlox attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and bees to the garden. Bred to have better resistance to powdery mildew than typical Phlox paniculata varieties. Easy to grow and hardy to -40 °C (-40 °F).
