A stunning Orange Itoh Peony, Garden Candy® Peach-A-Licious™ Itoh Peony has exceptionally large double blooms of creamy, salmon / orange with flags of dark pink just around the yellow stamen. A robust cross between an herbaceous peony and a tree peony, Peach-A-Licious™ Intersectional Peony flowers are held close to the foliage, creating a compact, rounded form that requires no staking, and is mildew-resistant. Abundant blooms from June to July. Foliage stays attractive all season long.

Plant Paeonia Itoh Peach-A-Licious™ Garden Candy® as a specimen or in clumps, or fill your cutting garden and your home with its fragrant blooms. Makes incredible bouquets. This cultivar is also known as Oompa Loompa Itoh Peony (Paeonia 'Oompa Loompa').

The Itoh Peony originated in Japan in 1948 thanks to one man’s dedication and perseverance - Dr. Toichi Itoh, a noted Japanese plantsman and botanist. He spent decades crossing pollen from herbaceous paeonies and tree peonies, trying to find the perfect hybrid. Itoh Peonies are absolutely stunning and combine the ideal traits from both of their parents. They are short, bushy growers, like herbaceous types, that do not require staking, yet they support the large magnificent blooms of the tree peony. Itohs also exhibit exquisite tree peony foliage that turns lovely burgundy-orange colors each fall.

Please use availability information as a guide only. The weather is a fickle thing, and impacts when our plants are actually available for shipping. Please be aware that we are not answering emails regarding plants availability. The best advice we can give you is to check back once in a while, choose a size option and check the current stock.
