Hydrangea paniculata 'Skyfall' (Skyfall Hydrangea) is famous for its gigantic conical flowerheads that threaten to touch the sky. Enormous green-white blooms with large hyacinth-like petals that are easily supported on the strong, upright stems. The flowers tend to gain light pink tinges over the summer.
A variety of the extremely popular Panicle Hydrangea, this species of Hydrangea is low maintenance, very hardy to the cold, and long lived. Blooms appear on new wood thus should reliably flower even after harsh winters and can be pruned in early spring to desired shape.
Skyfall Hydrangea is a small, compact deciduous shrub with dark green leaves. This large panicle Hydrangea makes excellent cut flowers and winter arrangements.
