Have a difficult area of your shady garden? Dryopteris filix-mas 'Barnesii' thrives on neglect and is pest and disease free. Add lush green beauty with this fern that has very narrow fronds and an upright growth habit. Tapering at the base, each frond is pinnate-pinnatifid with 20-30 pairs of long pointed leaflets per blade. This is a well-behaved plant and not at all invasive.
