Actinidia kolomikta 'Arctic Beauty’ is a fast-growing, deciduous, woody vine. Arctic Beauty Kiwi is a male variety of Variegated Arctic Kiwi, able to grow as far north as zone 4a. This plant has beautiful heart shaped, green foliage with white and pink. While the male varieties of Actinidia kolomikta will never produce fruit, they have more prominent variegated colours than the female varieties.
Both a male and female plant are required to produce the females sweet, edible fruit, which appears in early fall. One male kolomikta can pollinate up to 8 nearby females. Actinidia kolomikta species cannot pollinate Actinidia arguta species, so select the species and variety accordingly.
