Silver Lining Artemisia, scientifically known as Artemisia 'Silver Lining' Proven Winners®, is a spectacular foliage perennial. The broadly dissected and durable silver leaves are showy from spring to fall.
A hybrid of native North American species including Artemisia ludoviciana (white sagebrush), Silver Lining Artemisia has a mounded, low and wide habit, and maintains perfect form all season long. Unlike A. ludoviciana, it does not spread by underground runners, thus, will not take over your landscape.
Also known as Silver Lining White Sagebrush, this is a sun loving, drought resistant perennial commonly used as a filler in the landscape or border, as well as a spiller in mixed containers. This white Sagebrush is an excellent choice for rock gardens and xeriscaping. Small yellow flowers will appear in summer, but the flowering is insignificant, so, this plant should be considered primarily for its gorgeous foliage. When used in combination with other perennials, Silver Lining wormwood really makes everything stand out!
