The very large, fragrant blooms of the Royalty Lilac appear a few weeks after the common lilac. The flower buds are darker than the lighter lavender coloured blooms, which create a stunning two-toned effect. The green foliage is the perfect backdrop for the blooms. This reliable shrub’s green foliage remains throughout the season. Plant the lilac as a specimen or in a sunny mixed hedge border.
