In June, clusters of tall creamy pink to red flowers in astilbe-like panicles rise above the fantastic foliage to 4 feet tall. Blooms are followed by reddish brown seed-heads. Bronze Peacock Rodgersia has one of the darkest foliage of the species. It is a great sculptural addition to any garden.

Mass or group Rodgersia pinnata 'Bronze Peacock' in moist woodland or bog gardens, or in wet areas along stream or ponds. An excellent accent or specimen. This dwarf Rodgersia should be grown in partial to full shade, and moist to wet soil; or in a sunny area that remains moist all year.
