Epimedium youngianum 'Roseum' will brighten up shady areas of your garden with its colour changing foliage. In the spring heart shaped leaves emerge red and then turn green with distinctive red edges. It doesn’t stop there because in the fall the foliage turns a gorgeous red again. The foliage isn’t the only beauty on this shady groundcover as clouds of bell shaped, rose-pink flowers bloom in the summer. Also known as Pink Barrenwort or Pink Bishop's Hat, this plant is a low maintenance addition to shady gardens.
