The intense trumpet-shaped blooms almost cover the entire low-growing shrub. The foliage remains green throughout the season turning burgundy tones in the fall. Hardy to zone 4b, this tidy shrub is very hardy and pairs well with a Chaenomeles Japanese Quince to liven up shrub borders. Northern Hi-Lights Deciduous Azalea foliage is mildew resistant.
